Consolidate for the winter.

I have a hive that did not fill the upper box with comb. No comb, no honey for the winter.

I have made a choice to remove the upper super/brood box and let them concentrate on the brood box on the bottom.

It is possible that the hive will not be strong enough to get through the winter. I may have to "remove" the queen in the weaker hive and combine it with another one.
