Follow up to robbing and a surprise!

I combined 2 hives that were weak. They didn't seem "right". I saw no egg production and very little capped brood. I was worried about the strength of the colony going into the winter. This is my follow up to the consolidation.

I was taught to always look around and look for something that didn't seem right. I found a knot of bees on a cinder block.... I know that doesn't seem right. Watch to see what happened!
