How to put together a bee box - hive body

You can save money by buying your bee woodenware unassembled.

With simple tools and some glue you can put together your woodenware.

I recommend Titebond 3 wood glue. I have used it the past and have had excellent results. I prefer to hand nail my boxes. Galvanized nails will last longer than plain nails. If you plan to screw the box together make sure that there are pre-drilled holes. This will prevent splitting.

One last thing... make sure that the boxes are square.
