Two Queens in One Hive

I was doing an inspection and came across something that "never" happens. There were 2 queens in one hive.

I removed one of the queens to a mini hive. In a few days I will be able to see if she is mated . I will also be able to check the queen that I left in the hive to see if she is laying.
