If its going to be warm, it is ok to pop in and check on the bees. What is warm? 55 F is what I use. I am not going to do a full hive inspection, but a quick check to see if they have any emergency food.

If there are going to be several warm days, they may be more active and go through the stores.

This is the time beekeepers start getting excited. Spring is around the corner and it will be bee season.
